Fostering cats and kittens is a rewarding experience, but it also comes with costs. The supplies needed for cat and kitten rescue can vary depending on the age and health of the animals, but there are some essentials that every foster home needs: Food and water bowls, litter boxes and litter, toys, bedding, and scratching posts. Additionally, medications, flea treatments, and veterinary care are all costs that Animal Haven incurs.

 

Since we are a 100% volunteer foster organization, we rely on both our foster families to care for the cats and kittens, as well as our sponsors to help cover both the expected and unexpected expenses of fostering.

 

Animal Haven Rescue of Bay County, Inc. relies on private donations to care for animals in our community every year, to fund all of its programs that help pets and people in need. We receive no tax dollars.
